The leadership of HRBC is comprised of men and women who are committed to loving, caring for, and praying for both church members and our community. We love serving where we live, and we want to help share God's love to the ends of the earth. We would love to hear from you. If you have questions, or would like to speak with someone, please email us or call the church office.
George and his wife Amber have been a part of the Hoffmeyer family since 2016. George's family ministry mentality has him involved in our children, youth, and parent ministries. Prior to HRBC, George was a children's pastor in Hartsville, SC. He is a proud graduate of Charleston Southern University and is in the Masters of Divinity Program at Southeastern.
When George is not leading the youth or hitting the books, he is playing tennis, running, or working in the yard. George is a huge fan of the Florida State Seminoles.
Amber is involved with the youth ministry and also serves on the worship team.
George strives to live each day to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. He wants to love God, love others, and reach the lost.
Karen has been the worship leader at HRBC since 2014. At HRBC, Karen directs our choir, praise band, drama team, and weekly worship services.
Prior to HRBC, she was the worship leader for churches in Florence and Summerville, SC. She is a talented musician with years of experience in piano and guitar. Her desire each week at HRBC is to lead people before the throne of Jesus and help them experience the true heart of worship.
When she isn't playing music, Karen can be found behind her camera taking pictures of anything from a beautiful sunset to her two adorable nephews.
Karen loves cheering on her Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves, and can also be found attending a rodeo nearby. She loves to travel and hopes to catch a baseball game in every MLB ballpark someday.
Every day, Karen strives to live her life by Matthew 5:16 which says "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven."
