HRBC YOUTH

At HRBC, our youth ministry (7th-12th grade) is a family ministry effort. We strive to partner with parents to raise students rooted in Christ who are inspired to love God, love others, and reach the lost. We know students will change the world for Christ, and we want to equip the parents and the teens for them to do it.

For youth, we have Sunday School at 9:15. Our Small Groups meet on Sunday at 5:30, and they are grouped by age and gender. On Wednesday night, there are games, food, and worship at 6:00. All weekly youth activities meet in the youth house at the rear of the church. We also have monthly fun activities, and quarterly retreats or camps. Our youth ministry is designed to turn teenagers into disciples who make disciples. For parents, we have emails, ParentCues, Bible studies, devotions, and newsletters to equip the parents in the home. For more details on what we offer or if you have any questions, contact Pastor George Atkins at Gatkins@hrbcflorence.com

On Wednesday evenings, we have a special service just for youth. We try to make it an inspiring time where teens can invite their friends!

At 6:00 our youth come to eat, play games, and fellowship. At 6:45, we begin our time of worship, prayer, Bible study, and more.

Every Sunday morning, our youth delve into Scripture so they can see how every story of the Bible points to Jesus and how Jesus is relevant to their life today

Our small groups are broken down by age and gender to allow our studies to be relevant to the students' lives. We also allow our students the freedom to open up in discussion and share their thoughts. Our studies come from the AWANA Youth Ministry Journey and Trek curriculum.
